Hawaii 5-0

I turned in my NFL award application to my district resource teacher today for her to review it. I will turn in the application on Wednesday. Five finalist will be selected by feb 13th, the winner will be announced at the NFL draft in april.
I also got my casting email today for a shoot tomorrow in a future episode of Hawaii 5-0!!!!! Fun stuff!

OK, I have my application ready to email to the NFL networks keep gym in school PE teacher of the year. It was a neat experience and I am grateful for the nomination and opportunity to apply. Proof Reading

Ok all 6 essay's are written, letters of support are done, resume done, picture is taken now just trying to proof read everything and get it turned in! Just curious what you guys would have picked to write about?The last two essays were the major challenge that public school PE is dealing with now and as spokesperson for the program what would your message be?

NFL network PE teacher of the year progress

Ok gang, I have rough drafts for 3 of the 6 essays for consideration for this award and my principal and athletic director emailed me their letters of support today as well. I am well on my way to meet the deadline to turn in my application on time.

Recognition

I just found out that I was nominated for NFL Networks PE Teacher of the Year!!!  Amazing honor, although there is a lot of work that I have to do to be considered for the award!  If I win this award they will give me a grant to go toward my department and even money for personal use!  I have two weeks to get my application submitted, get my essays written, letters of support and other requirements in order to be considered.  I have a lot on my plate this month, I hope I can juggle all of my other duties!  WISH ME LUCK!
